Sustainability

Sustainability is a growing concern among consumers. And since our job is feeding consumers we’ve taken notice. Webster defines sustainability as being able to last or continue for a long time. Lasting and continuing for a long time are two things that most all farmers dream of for their farm. So it just makes good sense for us, as farmers, to farm sustainably. In order “to last and continue” for a long time, we need to see success in three areas: environmental, social, and financial. It’s like a three-legged stool: without one ‘leg’ the whole thing will come toppling over.
